  June 28th 2010 Brewery and Cider News  
 
Conwy Brewery - new beer:- Beachcomber Blonde 4.2% is available in local pubs and Wetherspoons nationally for the summer. Conwy Brewery is having an open day on Friday 9th July - entry £5 inc. brewery tour and two pints. Tours on the hour from 12:00 to 17:00.
 
Great Orme Brewery - Celtica won beer of the festival at the Kingdom of Fife Beer Festival - the first time in the 12 years of the festival that the award has gone to a non-Scottish beer. Celtica also picked up the gold in the Golden Ales category of the Great Welsh Beer Festival.
 
Nant Brewery - new summer seasonal beer:- Chwerw Braf (Sunny Bitter) 4.1%.
 
 
Rosies Triple D Cider - new perry now available on a more regular basis:- Perfect Pear 5.4%

Mr. Urien Roberts and Miss Melanie Collins bought Y Gwydyr, Dolwyddelan from Punch Taverns back in October last year. They are selling up to three real ales from local breweries such as Great Orme, Nant and Purple Moose.

Gareth and Colin Davies from the Town House in Llandudno are now running the Mail Coach in Conwy. A guest real ale is available such as Black Sheep Best Bitter, Brains Bitter or Conwy Welsh Pride.

The Albion in Conwy is currently closed.

The Fat Cat in Llandudno is now regularly selling real ales often from local breweries such as Conwy and Purple Moose - manager is Steve Taylor.

Also in Llandudno Fountains Cafe Bar selling Black Sheep Bitter on handpump.

The Snowdon has now re-opened selling beers such as Draught Bass, Burton Ale, Great Orme Great Welsh and Brimstage Trapper's Hat. New licensee is Paul Meredith.
